Spread across the region we have a diverse and exciting range of projects on the go. Auckland Transport has been working on a number of very diverse and exciting projects in the past 12 months with some of the key ones being:

  • Newmarket Stations Redevelopment

    Newmarket Station has been redeveloped to build on growth and to give Aucklanders better public transport option by enabling more frequent and reliable train services.

  • New Lynn Transit Oriented Development Programme

    If you would like to part of an exciting organization that is currently working on projects covering Active Travel, Integrated Travel, Rail, Road and Water visit Improving Transport.

  • Albany Highway Shared Path

    The Albany highway Shared Path runs between the new Albany senior high school and Wharf Road and promotes safer walkways and cycling.

  • Rapid Transit

    We are working to create a rapid transit network with high frequency, high quality services that do not get held up by road traffic congestion.

  • Matiatia Wharf Waiheke Island

    It's all smooth sailing for Waiheke residents thanks to the recent upgrade of the Matiatia ferry terminal.
