Here at Auckland Transport we believe in looking after the health, financial and individual wellbeing of our employees. Here is a summary of the benefits that we currently offer and will be able to offer in the next few months:

Employee Referral Programme

All employees will be able to refer candidates for advertised roles at Auckland Transport and eventually Auckland Council. The benefit to staff is that if the referred person is successful in their application and is still employed after six months there will be payment of $500.00 to the referring employee.

Above and Beyond Day

Employees will be offered an extra days' leave per year for achievements above and beyond their normal work requirements.

Staff Wellbeing

A number of programmes will be implemented by Auckland Transport to help staff look after their health. These will include: My Health Check and the 10,000 Steps Programme.

Flu Vaccinations

All staff are entitled to free flu vaccinations each year.

Auckland Transport will promote discounts for staff and will actively pursue the businesses that you select.

Current discounts include:

• Southern Cross Healthcare - Group scheme which gives discount on membership rates.
• West Wave - Gym membership.
• Discount opportunities for local businesses e.g. cafes, bike shops.
